Get rid of old medicines

I want to impart these vital information that talks about medicines.

If you're like most parents, you probably have old medications and leftover prescriptions taking up space in your medicine cabinet.

It is best and most proper to get rid of old meds you aren't using or that have expired, plus outdated products such as syrup of ipecac (which is not recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, mercury thermometers which can break and expose your child to mercury, hydrogen peroxide which is good for laundry but soap is better for cleansing wounds, aspirin which can cause Reye's syndrome and OTC cough and cold meds for kids under 2 which is not recommend by the FDA.

You better throw any old antibiotics. It's important that your pediatrician decide which antibiotic is needed to treat your child. Giving an antibiotic when it's not needed, giving the wrong antibiotic or giving the wrong dose can cause serious problems.

That's when I was alarmed. I don't want that my children will get harm with this medicines. That is why, I dispose those medicines which will cause them aggravated.

Lobster Collection

My friend Charisse Smith was enjoying a relaxing vacation in St. Croix. She was snorkeling when suddenly she spotted a lobster and decided it would be a good idea to try to grab it. Fortunately, she failed but the story quickly became a legend.

While shopping for gifts later in the trip, she spotted two small glass lobster and bought them as remembrance of the lobster that got away, A collection was born.

Back home from the small Laurence County Borough of Enon Valley, my friend has transformed her home into a tropical paradise, decorated with mermaids, seashells, palm trees, tropical birds and most notably, lobsters.

The collection is remarkable and Charisse is not all selfish about sharing it with visitors. The array of collectibles includes lobster rugs, mugs, candle holder, totes, T-shirts, aprons, sugar bowls, glasses, butter servers, salt and pepper shakers, decorative bottle holders and soap dispensers.

The rest of Charisse family as well as her friends (including me) seem thrilled with her collection obsession.

My best gifts for my family this Christmas.

Communication is a must. And therefore, everyone needs the right gadget to reach out their loved ones, friends and families at all times.

"No man is an island."

This maxim heads me to think that it is very impossible for man to be alone. We need everyone's care and love through sustaining ourselves with the right communication.

Being here in the US for about 3 years made me feel a deep missing with my family in the Philippines. In fact, it is my 3 years now of being not with them in times of special occasion such as Christmas and New Year. Though they are far, I always make sure to keep in touch with them. Thanks to the newest innovation of today's latest technology because I can be able to communicate to them.

Just 3 weeks ago, I decided to send them an advance Christmas present, 3 cellphones. I bought them in the mall here at Katy, Texas as my friends and I had this cell phone shopping. That's when I was thinking to buy cell phone for them. I bought 3 pieces of the newest face of cellphone which I give to my 2 sisters and my father as well. Their old cellphones need something new and so I bought all three.

Luckily, it made me happy because I enjoy their best mobile phone deals. Instead of purchasing each of them as $678 dollars, the store gave me discount and it went to $456 each. So I save more!

I know pretty well that my family will be happy with it. Thus, New Year and Christmas will not be a sad moment for me. I have my family right through a click, a call.

Energy-boosting Practice - Shiatsu

According to Shirley Scranta of the International School of Shiatsu, in Doylestown, Pa. Practitioners, Shiatsu which means finger pressure in Japanese helps loosen energy, which can alleviate pain. She further stress saying, "We press os specific points on the body, called tsubos or energy-gathering points, and hold those until you feel them opening and the energy flowing."

Furthermore, thumbs, knuckles, forearms, even elbows are use to provide vigorous, deep pressure, assessing which line of energy is most deficient to determine where to work first. By stimulating acupressure points, Shiatsu triggers the body's curative abilities with the external pressure releases internal pressure to improve blood circulation, which further eases pain.

In fact, a year ago, Caitrin Rames, 31, of Iowa City, started weekly Shiatsu treatment to help with migraines and lower back pain. She says, "For acute pain, it's better than any medications I've tried."

Fortunately, grasping through this information, I started practicing this energy-boosting, stress-reliever treatment as I lay fully clothed on a low-massage table or futon.

It truly relaxes me. Amazingly, such a nice feeling to be stress-free!

Fuze for Breast Cancer

There is slenderize beverage that I often drink. It is Fuze Empower Promegranate Acai Berry which has antioxidant in 2 g. sugar per serving. This drink tastes good and made even better.

I just wonder why there is this message pasted in the bottle - "Susan G. Komen for the cure". I searched through their site and I have found out that Fuze is helping women who are victims of breast cancer disease. Part of their mission is to help Susan G. Komen to recover in battling such a disease.

I'm glad that in any way or another, I'd help Susan through purchasing Fuze product. In fact, I have numerous Fuze drinks in my refrigerator which I do drink every morning.

Furthermore, this glads me knowing that I get the right defense against breast cancer because of Fuze.

Many products claim to be natural.

What makes your personal care products? It is naturally manufactured with nature's formulas or doesn't it contain much chemical substances?

It says that many products claim to be natural but contain petrochemicals and potentially harmful synthetics like parabens and sulfates.

In order for the people to protect themselves, a natural standard has been established which was created by the Natural Products Association. The seal will appear nationwide on products that meet the standard's strict criteria. It implies that having the seal on these products entails at least 95% natural ingredients contained without potentially harmful synthetics. Therefore, if you don't see the seal, you can't be sure that the products is natural.

It is best for us, consumers to spend and purchase with less worried about the product that care our health. 2FTGKH2BCWKJ

A nice quote to reflect on.

I have received from a friend about this wonderful text message that says:

"If you take care of the things that are important to God, He will take care of the things that are important to you".

This quote struck me most. In fact, whenever I lose the strength in me, I drop the keypad down to where this message in my outbox of my cellphone is located and all over again, I read them.

The most needy person in my life is my family especially my special child sister named Shellane. She is suffering from a serious case of being a special child - slow learner type. She needs me ore especially now that we don't have our mother anymore because she died last 2004 because of a cancer and my father can't sustain us because she is with her second wife now.

Having experience this tragic situation, if I'm too selfish, I would probably get married now and have a family of my own. I would probably think not to help her anymore. But I'm not like that. I pity her a lot because she's helpless and it is not her choosing why she is like that, why she is suffering from that case. I can't question God as well because I know He let things happen with a purpose.

I admit that I sometimes I can say that I am overly tired of responsibilities of taking care of her because I am drown with lots of problems financially. But what holds my faith is that I know that God always provides. This is always what I cling to and believe in.

Far more than what I've experienced, I have seen and enjoy the blessings of God everytime I care about His things. He bless me with good and plenty. He shares and gives all our needs abundantly.

That is why, I never worry much because God works for the best of me and my family as much as He helps and sustains all the people from all walks of life.
