Moving Boxes

This Saturday, February 27, we (my husband and I) are going to transfer to our new house. That is why, we bought numerous moving boxes to store and to securely place our things. We are also needing the help of a moving truck because all things can't accommodate our car. We have huge furniture that need huge truck for them.

Gladly, I am very glad. At least now, we don't spend paying house rental anymore.

Dazzling sundress to flatter a big bust.

Opt for a wrap dress with a belt that clinches at the slimmest part of the waist. Unlike strapless styles, which can cause uniboob or spillovers, this look creates a diagonal line across the chest that lifts and separates to highlight tasteful cleavage. For optimal slimming, choose a dress with neckline details like a collar or one that features cuffed sleeves, which visually broaden the shoulders - shrinking the waist by comparison.

The Saturday Fat Trap

I usually eat a lot during weekends especially during Saturdays or Sundays. During weekdays, I;m busy at work and this reminded me not to eat much, instead I do forget to eat plenty. But weekends, it's my break!

Now, I have to be moderate then. I have read this health article form a magazine that says if your're trying to drop pounds and your jeans aren't getting any looser, take a closer look at your weekend meals. "Our meals schedules are less structured then, so we may relax and treat ourselves to richer foods or eat more without realizing it," says study author Susan B. Racette, Ph.D., assistant professor at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Loius.

I always think weekends are my break. Not anymore now. After all Ms. Racette is right. I have to plan Saturday treats with healthy foods so that I will not suffer gaining weight.

Bandage than fresh air.

"If you expose then to fresh air, you expose then to dirt and germs, which could lead to infection," days Dr. Harley A. Rotbart, M.D., professor of pediatrics and microbiology at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. That's why, cover cuts and scrapes with a bandage to keep them clean.

Covering the injury will prevent your child from picking at the scrab or touching the wound, which could also introduce germs. Wash it with soap and water, then apply a cute bandage. Furthermore, it is advisable to change it daily to look for signs of infection, such as redness, swelling or pus. A cut should heal within a week.

Thus, there is an advantage why bandaging is proper for cuts than without using bandage because it will help prevent MRSA, the antibiotic- resistant staph infection that's landed hundreds of kids in the hospital.

German man saved on frozen sea by webcam spotter. (Reflection)

Indeed, technology in any way or another, helps. It helps save a life.

According to Desmond Butler, associate press writer last February 3, 2010, Wednesday, a woman admiring the sunset on a tourist webcam in northern Germany spotted a man who was lost on the frozen North Sea and probably saved his life by alerting authorities, police said Wednesday.

The man had climbed over pack ice off the coast to photograph a sunset near the town of St. Peter-Ording, then became disoriented on the ice, Husum police spokeswoman Kristin Stielow said.

Unable to locate the beach, the man began using his camera to flash for help. That got the attention of a woman hundreds of miles (kilometers) away in southern Germany who was watching the sunset over the sea on her computer.

The woman contacted police, who located the man's signals and guided him into shore by flashing their car lights. Officiers then lectured him on the dangers of trekking on the ice.

Police would not identify the man or the woman who spotted him. Stielow said he was a German tourist in his forties.

She said locals are well aware of the risk of disorientation as darkness falls and the beach becomes hard to identify, but vivid sunsets over frozen landscapes often draw people away from the shore.

At the time the man lost his bearings, the air temperature was below freezing. He could have frozen to death or fallen through the ice, Stielow added.

St. Peter-Ording is popular tourist destination known for its beaches and sailing, and the local tourism board runs a Web site with a webcam. The board, however, said images from the webcam are routinely erased and the dramatic flashes from the man's camera were not saved before the story came to light.

Obviously, technology plays an essential role not just to entertain and run businesses. But it is vital in all circumstance, whether tragedies or natural occurrences. No matter how small technology's gadget may be, it helps. Just like this real scenario that only through webcam, the German's life is saved.
