I feel hurt.

I feel hurt when you step on me as if like I don't have feelings. I feel hurt everytime you look down at me as if I am the smallest creature on earth. I feel hurt everytime you say that I am useless and don't have much to gain. I feel hurt everytime you slap to my face with insults that are that you don't even know my capacity that I can do things on my own. I feel extremely hurt that you criticize all the things that I do in order to share what I have to others, but then you stain your thoughts with cruel things. I feel hurt that you don't see the beauty in me, that I have a big heart for others. I am hurt but I just stay happy and just keep in silence because I am keeping myself used to stabbing with your unpleasant words until I will be a metal to take them light.

Hope you will realized one day that what you have caused distracts me and I will not be affected because I am a person determined to pursue my life to go on living the way I am, just silent and passive. Why? It is because I am the ones who truly understand.

Where does cotton come from?

Cottons are very important. Why? Here’s how…

The cotton thread we sew with or weave into cloth is spun from fibers in the cotton boll. This is the seed pod of the cotton plant.

The cotton bush is an annual plant. It grows quickly and flowers, then small green seedpods develop. The seeds inside the cotton boll are surrounded by a mass of fine hairs. When the boll is ripe, it bursts open and the soft white cotton can be picked. And once the cotton crop is harvested, it has to be ginned. This process separates the cotton fiber from the seeds so that the fibers can be cleaned, carded and spun.

It has been regarded that cotton was a major crop in the southeastern United States where slaves worked the plantations. In fact, nearly a fifth of the world’s cotton is still produced in the US. Egypt and Sudan also export cotton. It is important too in parts of East Africa, India and Pakistan, China and parts of South America.

Cotton plays a major role in making dresses. Its line is a big market especially in terms of the world of fashion.

Where does acid rain occur?

All rain is very slightly acid, but over the industrial areas of North America and Europe the rain is more acid because it absorbs waste gases which pollute the atmosphere.

Rainwater reacts with the carbon dioxide in the air to become a very dilute carbonic acid. This weak acid can dissolve limestone, which is an alkaline rock.

Rain can also react with the waster gases emitted into the air by factories, power stations and cars. Such gases may be carried great distances by winds and then fall as dilute sulfuric acid and nitric acid, often on areas far away from the source of pollution. This is called acid rain because its avidity is artificially high.

Acid rain increases at the erosion of rocks and building materials, especially limestone. Lakes and steams are slowly poisoned, threatening wildlife. The face of the statue shown in the photograph above has been eaten away by acid rain.

Magnetic North Pole: Where it is?

The device, compass needle always points toward the magnetic North Pole, which is near at Bathurst Island in northern Canada - over 930 miles from the geographic North Pole.

This Magnetic North Pole was discovered by James Clark Toss in 1831 off the Boothia Peninsula in northern Canada. The location of the pole is mainly controlled by movements inside the earth which make our planet into a giant market. Over very long periods of time, the earth's magnetic field can reverse, moving magnetic north to Antarctica. This has happened 30 times in the last five million years.
