The Valley of the Kings at Luxor, Egypt

There is always a reason to have a trio to The Valley of the Kings at Luxor in Egypt for it features King Tut's Tomb which just one of 62 in the Valley of the Kings.

According to the book that I have read, it is this cultural etiquette that women should observed. They should cover their knees and shoulders in public. When they are in mosques, shoes should be removed and women should be completely covered. Thus, if they are invited to local's home, they should bring an expensive gift sine the owner of the house are sure to rool out the red carpet.

Moreover, the best time to go there is from October to March for the desert in these times are experiencing winter. Tombs open at 6 in the morning and so, it is best to go early to beat the crowds.

It is important to remember that tickets cannot be bought at the site and must be purchased at the West Bank Ticket Office which individuals tickets are required for each tomb, temple or group of tombs.

It is just so easy to get there. One should take a taxi over the bridge which is 6 km upriver from Luxor to the west bank of the Nile or cross the river by public ferry or private motorboat.
